Tim Collins began with Amazon in 1999 and has been a key member of the company’s executive team over nearly two decades. He currently serves as vice president of Worldwide Amazon Logistics. As part of the company’s senior leadership team, Tim Collins has helped oversee the online retailer’s efforts to open new distribution centers nationwide and in more than 20 other countries.

In December 2018, Amazon revealed that it will be opening a new fulfillment center in Mississippi, which will be located in Marshall County. The 554,000-square-foot center will help bolster the local economy with the creation of 850 new jobs, which will consist of picking, packing, and shipping many of the various goods consumers purchase at Amazon. These full-time jobs will pay $15 per hour and come with immediate benefits, including healthcare, retirement, and up to 20 weeks of paid time off for parental leave.
